Facebook Releases Guide To Help Business Pages Boost Their Results
Facebook has just released their new ‘Facebook for Business’ guide. If you’re just getting starting with Facebook or looking for more ways to utilize the social network to grow your business, this is quite handy. Considering Google is currently banning all unauthorized business profiles from Google +, this is a good opportunity for Facebook to strengthen ties with businesses to prevent them from jumping ship to Google in the future.
This step-by-step guide provides tutorials on how to set up the best page for your type of business and really market yourselves and connect with new and existing customers. It also includes information on how to take advantage of target Facebook advertising such as creating sponsored stories to boost your reputation and image. Then there are the built-in-apps facebook recommend in this guide to help transform your page into richer platform to increase user experience, as well as optimize it for viewing on mobiles.
And speaking of optimization, one of the sections that I thought was particularly helpful is the ‘Best Practice Guide’ which focuses specifically on 5 guiding principles for using Facebook.
Within each section of the guide, Facebook also includes links to create the actual pages, apps, and other content.
While none of these initiatives to help Facebook business users is new, it’s the first time Facebook has integrated all these into one platform. So, check out the guide if you’re looking to grow your business through Facebook.
