Project is similar to folder in Windows explorer, it can hold one or more profiles. Usually project refers to your company name.

Website Profiles
You can have as many profiles as you like under one project. Each profile usually contain each of your company website that you may have.

There is no limitation for profiles you can create however projects is limited depending on your software edition, whether it is Standard, Professional or Enterprise
